Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor who is well known for his part in the tv show Law & Order Special Victims Unit. Since his time in college Christopher Meloni has always been attracted to the world of acting. He pursued a degree in acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Although he's been in films and in television shows, it is the characters portrayed on small screens that have given him popularity. He has been able to seamlessly play the roles of characters from both sides of the law, and captivate the viewers' attention. His initial project was a television show, and later, he played an officer for the NYPD. His performances on small screens are rewarded with numerous Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. The actor is famous by his blue piercing eyes, which have become the trademark of his character and has helped him create a charismatic character for tough roles. The People's Magazine's list of Sexiest Men Alive included him.
